Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz is set to return from his loan spell at AC Milan following the exit of Marco Asensio as well as the rumoured exit if Karim Benzema.
The Rossoneris wanted to keep the loanee who has been playing as a midfielder on a permanent deal around a reported fee of €18-20m.
However, Real Madrid has requested for a return of the start to fill the deficit in the club following the surprise exit of Marco Asensio.
The Spaniard has been crucial in AC Milan’s recent successes as they lifted the Scuddeto in 2022 and their trailing exit from the Champions League semi final after they lost in a 3-0 aggregate to their rivals Inter Milan at San Siro.
In the number 10 shirted jersey, Brahim Diaz has given his best to the Red and Blacks this season as he was involved in 15 goals,scoring seven goals and assisting eight.
Brahim Diaz arrived at Santiago Bernabeu in January 2019, and enjoyed playing time in the first team for a season and a half in which he played 21 games and scored two goals.
After a three years loan spell, Brahim Diaz is set to return to Real Madrid and join the White Angels ahead of the 2023/24 as well as Fran GarcÃa and Joselu.
