Ghanaian stand-up comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney, best known as DKB, has sent a strong warning to persons peddling rumors of a sexual affair between him and Rosemond Alade Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo.

The comedian took to Instagram to register his displeasure over the alleged rumors that implicate him in having a sexual affair with the actress.

In the video, the comedian cautioned the rumor peddlers to refrain from disturbing Akuapem Poloo. He disclaimed having a sexual affair with the actress, stating he has supported her without any demands, as the rumor purports.

He cautioned them to keep mute over matters they have zero knowledge of and avoid incurring curses upon themselves.

“This is a straight warning to the people disturbing Akuapem poloo. Don’t bring curses on yourself Those of you out there. Don’t bring curses on yourself. Don’t say things you don’t know, you haven’t seen before. I made a deliberate effort to help that girl without zero demand” he said.

He continued to vindicate himself of the speculation, claiming he never knew Poloo’s house until her birthday, where he even arrived late since he got lost, which has been confirmed by Akuapem Poloo herself in previous interviews.

He further called those peddling such rumors perpetrators of such attacks and warned them to drop the false speculation to evade curses.

“Stop perpetrating falsehood because if I put my lips on you to rain curses on you with psalms in the bible it will not end well for you” he stated.

DKB and Akuapem Poloo have been making headlines with their erratic relationship for quite a while in the media.

The comedian dragged Poloo to court over allegedly defrauding her of funds that were remitted to her through him; he later dropped the charges he leveled against her in court.

The duo have been seen kissing in public on social media before; however, Akuapem Poloo claimed they were publicity stunts intended for clout and trends.

DKB appealed for donations to support Akuapem Poloo’s son after she was served a 90-day jail term over publishing an explicit photo with her 7-year-old son in June 2020, which she subsequently evaded after being slapped with a GH 12, 000 fine after appeal.
