The Lead Facilitator of the Duo Concept Foundation, Madam Kate Addo has called for equal opportunities to be afforded to all Ghanaian children across the country. This is to ensure social balance and equality at every level.
Speaking during a donation exercise undertaken to mark the 15th birthday celebration of Penin and Kakra Acheampong both co- founders of the Duo Concept Foundation at the Great Mission International orphanage in Accra.
Appealing to charity organizations, Ms Addo urged them to complement the efforts of governments by ensuring an equal balance and access to basic essentials which some deprived children have no access to. Including learning materials, healthcare, constant care and education which can improve their lives as growing children.
The foundation, co-founded by Panin and Kakra Acheampong donated items worth over Ghc 20,000 to the Great Mission International in Nungua to mark their 15th birthday. The items donated included new clothes, drinks, water and cash donations which were presented to the home to support in maintaining and managing the home.
The staff of the home expressed gratitude for the overwhelming generosity, emphasizing the positive impact it will have on the lives of the youngsters under their care. According to them the heartening act of kindness exemplifies the power of unity in making a difference within the community.
Duo Concept Foundation is a Non-governmental organization supporting the less privileged, girl child empowerment and educational talk programs across the country.
