The Ghana Armed forces have honored young and promising Ghanaian football player, Mohammed Kudus with several awards following his jaw-dropping performance at the just-ended FIFA World Cup 2022 which was held in Qatar.
At a ceremony monitored by the1957new.com yesterday, 23rd December 2022 at Burma Camp, the 22-year-old player who plays as a midfielder for Ajax and the Ghana Black Stars was awarded five different awards from the Ghana Armed Forces’ department – Ghana Airforce, Ghana Navy, Ghana Military, Chief of Air Staff and Chief of Defense following his mind-blowing performance at the World Cup 2022.
The awards had the signatures from the heads of the various aforementioned department under the ministry of defense in addition to a plaque of honor dubbed “The Man In The Arena“.
These awards were facilitated by Dr. Steven Blessing Ackah, and the Ghana Gold Expo Foundation, the same organization that honored the soccer Star with a commemorative Gold Coin Medal a few days ago.
Kudus becomes the first Soccer Star to be honored with such an award from the Ghana Armed forces.
