Ghanaian Celebrities have had glamorous blushes on the AMVCA red carpet session in Lagos, Nigeria.
The ninth edition of Africa’s most prominent and colourful film awards ceremony, the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) kicked off in Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday.
Celebrities were glamed in their native African wears in the opening of the awards and Ghanaian celebrity Gyakie Appiah, caught all the glimpse of lenses on her as she stormed the red carpet in her glamorous kente wear.
Today, other celebrities have joined to make fashion statements with their elegant looks. The likes of Tv Presenter AJ Sarpong, Actress Juliet Ibrahim, Nana Akua Addo and a few have displayed glitz fashion costume on the red carpet. Other Nigerians stole the show with their costumes.
Prior to the event, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria, Busola Tejumola, made resounding statements on this year’s edition.
“Last year, we had an eight-day line-up of activities leading to the award night. This year will be no different. We have decided to sustain the momentum by bringing back all the activities. The only difference is that they will all take place within three days”, the statement read.
