Nana Poku Kwarteng, alias Starboy Kwarteng, has announced that his late daughter, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, who was popularly known as “Ebony Reigns” will be celebrated every February 16, even after his demise.
The Ghanaian music star who was born on February 16, 1997, in Kumasi and passed on February 16 via a fatal accident has to date, been cherished greatly by her family, fans, and loved ones.

During this year’s Ebony’s Jollof day, an annual occasion specifically set to celebrate her birthday, Mr. Kwarteng explained the close relationship he had with his late daughter and therefore why it is paramount to celebrate her.
“I’m proud to be called a dad. If I have intentions of celebrating this great personality there, you wouldn’t have any blame, you will understand that indeed the queen deserves that”
Over the years, the Kwarteng family, after the untimely death of their relative, have continuously marked the years of remembrance by visiting her tomb annually as well as celebrating on her birthday.
Marking the five years after the demise of the “Poison and Kupe” hitmaker on her birthday, her father, Starboy Kwarteng disclosed that, his daughter Ebony will be celebrated every moment of his life and even when he is no more, his children will take over the task of celebrating the queen every moment of their lives.
“I wish every day is today. I want to celebrate her every moment of my life. Even after hundred years or when am gone, my children will take over Ebony’s celebration”, Starboy concluded.
This year’s Ebony’s memorial birthday was organized at her Dad’s Dansoman residence
