Hiplife Artiste, Keche Andrew’s wife and Manager Joan Cudjoe, Parliamentary Aspirant for the Amenfi Central Constituency of the NDC has won the parliamentary primaries.
The aftermath of the elections where 1,486 delegates casted their ballots to elect the Parliamentary Candidate in the Amenfi Central Constituency favoured Joan Gyan Cudjoe who obtained higher portion of the total votes cast against three other contenders for the very position.
This happens to be her first political race for the Parliamentary Candidacy in a male-dominated constituency after she faced stiff opposion in the build up to the elections.
Mrs Gyan Cudjoe is one of the few Candidates who managed to unseat incumbent Parliamentaries from running for the general elections come 2024.
Among her contenders were the incumbent Member of Parliament for the constituency Peter Yaw Kwakye-Ackah who polled 575 votes out of the total votes cast as well as Daniel Appiah, Dr Karl Mark Arhina and Elijah Jones Appiah.
Keche Andrew has in an Social media post congratulated his wife. “Congratulations to my beautiful wife ObaaNaa on winning the Amenfi Central NDC parliamentary primaries. Your hard work and passion for service have paid off. I am proud to stand by your side as you continue to make a difference in our community. Love you forever! ❤️🙏🏾 #ObaaNaa #AmenfiCentral” he wrote.
