The friendly game between the Black Stars B also known as the Black Galaxies and Kenpong Football Academy scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, 2022 has
been moved to the Cape Coast stadium according to multiple reports.
The game which will serve as a test game for the Local Black Stars ahead of their 2022 Championship of African Nations
(CHAN) double-legged playoff tie against Benin in August and September this year was scheduled to be played at the Accra Sports stadium.
Although the National Sports Authority (NSA) is yet to issue an official statement to make known reasons for calling off the
game, numerous media outlets have speculated the game was revoked due to the incumbent party (NPP) hosting a National Executive Election at the stadium.
The game has been rescheduled to take place at the Cape Coast Sports stadium on Sunday, July 17, 2022 with the Black Galaxies expected to arrive at the Central region capital on Friday.
