Ghanaian Music Producer, John Kwesi Dosunmu-Mensah, popularly known as M.O.G. Beatz, has made a sarcastic apology to Yvonne Nelson, who is implied in Sarkodie’s Try Me, which he (MOG) produced.
In a tweet, the record producer apologized to Yvonne Nelson after he mixed and masterked Try Me by BET award-winning artist Sarkodie, which has stirred controversies online with Yvonne Nelson replying to portions of the song.
In the tweet, he was asked why he spurned a beat for Sarkodie to “insult” Yvonne Nelson by someone whom he kept anonymous. The person demanded that he render a public apology.
He tweeted: “As a Man Of God (MOG), I want to publicly apologize for making King Sark’s “Try Me” beat.🤣”
Prior to that, he had tweeted earlier, indirectly cautioning Yvonne Nelson, who is implied not to slide into his DM. He flatly stated that he is just a Producer who takes pride in his work and is not hesitant to spark violence with the “necessary spices”.
“Madam, don’t come at me in my DMs. I’m just a producer, and I take pride in my work. You can call me “Chef” because I don’t have a problem cooking vegetables with all the necessary spices. 🤣🙏🏾🙏🏾” He tweeted.
A previous post within the same timeline states “Vawulence is best served as a banger” and a post states, “We don’t want peace”.
Sarkodie’s reply to Yvonne Nelson in his new track Try Me has garnered over 187,000 views in 10 hours and has generated far-reaching conversations and dialogues on social media and the social environment at large.
