The National Disaster Management Organization(NADMO) in a public notice issued today, June 15, 2022 and signed by their Director of Communications, George Ayisi has asked Coastal city dwellers to take precautionary measures to stay safe following Ghana Meteorological Agency report of a heavy rainfall tonight.
According NADMO, citizens living in Coastal cities of Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast and Takoradi, especially those in flood-prone areas are expected to move to higher grounds and identified safe heavens in their communities to avoid danger.
It said the public should strictly adhere to the weather warning and act accordingly.
NADMO has asked the general public to call 112, 0302964884 and 0299350699 in case of any distress.
