Organizers of the YouTube Creators Festival Ghana have announced an all-star lineup for the second edition scheduled to take place between November 24 to 26.
The speakers are Israeli YouTuber, Nas Daily; Ghana’s award-winning YouTuber, Wode Maya, Jessica Opare – Saforo, Sweet Adjeley, Ken Agyapong & Abdul Karim (Co-Founders, Afrochella), Kwadwo Sheldon, Ameyaw Debrah, Yonny Friedman, Ivy Prosper, and other speakers and content creators who have built strong personal corporate brands with continental and global appeal in music, tourism, food, lifestyle, and entertainment.Â
They share a combined subscriber base of more than 11 million.Â
Nuseir Yassin (Nas Daily) who is a popular and influential vlogger with more than 8 million subscribers is notable for creating over 1,000 daily one-minute-long videos on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
Wode Maya, who recently picked up an award at the just-ended GUBA Awards received Ghana’s first YouTube Gold Plague on March 8. He is the first Ghanaian to reach one million subscribers on the video-sharing platform.
Sweet Adjeley, an American-based Ghana digital culinary creative with almost 1 million subscribers on YouTube has made a name for herself as the go-to creator for innovative food recipes.
Despite being in its early stages, the YouTube Creator Festival Ghana has not been the only sort to acknowledge and reward Ghanaian content creators but has carved a niche in the industry for promoting local tourism.
The second edition which is an improvement from the first will see the introduction of a free Masterclass for female content creators.Â
Early last month, it was endorsed officially by Beyond the Return, a diaspora initiative by the Government of Ghana following the success of the Year of Return.
The partnership agreement, described by both parties as mutually beneficial, will see them share ideas on ways to ensure patrons get value for money and a life-long experience.
The YouTube Creators Festival Ghana will bring all content creators across the region to engage, educate and inspire the global YouTube community. The YouTube creators festival is organized locally by Entamoy Media Ltd alongside co-creators and official event planners, Impact Concept Solution Africa Limited (ICS Africa Ltd).
The 3-days long independent convention will climax with the Creators Awards night & Concert, which will acknowledge and recognize the influence and hard work of creative content creators in Ghana.
